Arsenal are looking ahead to potential additions in the next summer transfer window, with Mohammed Kudus of West Ham emerging as a key target.
According to Football Insider, the Gunners have been monitoring the Ghanaian winger as they aim to boost their attacking depth for the next season.
As per Pete O’Rourke, speaking on the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, revealed that the Gunners could “try and make a move” for the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window.
Kudus made the switch to West Ham from Ajax in August 2023, signing a five-year contract in a deal reportedly worth £38m.
Since joining the Hammers, the Ghanaian midfielder has quickly made a name for himself with his agility, technical skill, and goal-scoring abilities.
Primarily utilised a winger role, Kudus has injected energy and flair into West Ham’s lineup, often becoming the go-to man for turning defence into quick counter-attacks.
Since he arrived at West Ham, Kudus has netted 16 goals and provided seven assists across 55 appearances in all competitions, taking his overall career tally to 64 goals and 22 assists.
His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, with Arsenal viewing him as a valuable addition capable of injecting creativity and firepower into their attack.
Notable highlights of his time include a spectacular scissor-kick goal against Brentford and an exceptional solo effort against SC Freiburg in the Europa League, which was named the best goal of the 2023-2024 UEFA Europa League season.
Kudus’ skill in taking on defenders was demonstrated by leading the Premier League in successful dribbles, tallying 124 during his debut season—emphasising his technical excellence and attacking prowess.

Arsenal are not the only club to show interest in the winger. Previously Liverpool have been linked with Kudus as well, with suggestions that they see him as an ideal replacement for Mo Salah, whose future at Liverpool remains uncertain.
