The Inter Milan squad is already back in training today, as they work to produce a response to their humiliating loss to Fiorentina.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that Joaquin Correa and Federico Dimarco trained separately from the rest of the Nerazzurri squad.
Inter suffered a particularly damaging loss to Fiorentina yesterday.
The result, in and of itself, was a bitter enough blow. By losing yesterday, the Nerazzurri remained three points behind Napoli in the Serie A table but without a game in hand.
But beyond just losing, Inter suffered an outright blowout.
Fiorentina, despite missing a large number of senior players, won the match 3-0. And the scoreline was not harsh on Inter.
This was Inter’s heaviest defeat of the season so far (and the fourth of the campaign in all competitions). It was certainly one of the team’s worst performances under Simone Inzaghi – if not the worst.
And according to Sky, Inter are already at work trying to climb out of the hole they’ve dug for themselves.
There was no day off to rest and recuperate today after yesterday’s rout.

The Nerazzurri are back in training already. Simone Inzaghi led a session today as he looks to light a fire under his players.
Inter face Fiorentina again in just a couple days. They host the Tuscan side at the San Siro on Monday evening.
And that is a match where the pressure will be massive.
In the context of the title race, Inter can hardly afford anything other than three points. And in terms of morale, it will be important to put in a convincing performance.
Therefore, the team are training today to try and work out what went wrong yesterday, and to start fixing it.
Meanwhile, reports Sky, two Inter players trained apart from the rest of the squad.
