Ipswich fought back from two goals behind to earn a draw at Everton in what was the home side’s second-to-last match at Goodison Park.

First-half goals from Beto and Dwight McNeil had Everton cruising, but Julio Enciso pulled one back for Ipswich with a bit of brilliance just before half-time.

The Toffees pushed for a third to seal it, but Ipswich hit them on the break – George Hirst was left unmarked at the back post and headed in the leveller.

The point bumps Everton up to 14th, overtaking Manchester United, while Ipswich stay stuck in 18th.

It also marked the end of an era – the last ever 3pm Saturday kick-off at Goodison in 133 years of history. The proper farewell, against Southampton in a fortnight, will be a Sunday match before the move to Bramley-Moore Dock next season.
