The Eagles travel to The Chigwell Construction Stadium to contest a battle of the bottom two sides in the league table on Sunday afternoon.
A victory in East London would haul Crystal Palace off the bottom of the table but head coach Kaminski says that her side are treating the game the same as any other.
“Points are key, you can get a point and turn your position in the league around quite quickly,” Kaminski said when speaking in the pre-match press conference. “Obviously, three points can have a huge impact on your positioning, it gives a different feeling.
“It’s just another game for us. We see every game as another opportunity to get points on the board. We want to go into the game confident and try our best to stay in it.”
After this weekend’s contest, Crystal Palace’s next two league fixtures are against Manchester United and Arsenal. Kaminski says that those daunting fixtures don’t bring any added pressure to this weekend’s game.
She said “It’ll look like that from the outside in but we are still shy of half-way in the season, so it’ll be wrong to put pressure on this one game as the ultimate game. Nobody is promoted or relegated on Sunday, it’s three points on the table for taking. We will turn up with the best ambition to take those three points.”
Going on to discuss West Ham United, Kaminski said that her side are set to face another tough opponent.
She said “Having watched them, I can see that they’re well-disciplined, well-set up in terms of the shape that they play. They’ve been consistent in that and they’ve been unlucky with some of their chances.
“It’s a challenge for us, a tough opponent, so we must be prepared for the game.”
Crystal Palace’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture at West Ham United kicks-off at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
