The big Englishman has previously expressed concerns over the decision to let our star striker, Kyogo Furuhashi, to leave mid-season whilst we have so much work still left to do both at home and abroad.
Although the team is ten-points clear with a game in hand at the summit of Scottish football, there is still plenty of football left to be played, including two games against our main rivals for the title and Scottish Cup business to contend with too. With a League Cup already in the bag, Brendan Rodgers will no doubt be fancying another clean sweep.

Moreover, the club have managed to qualify for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in over a decade, with a play-off place standing between them and the Last-16 of the tournament. Before that though, we need to overcome Aston Villa in the final matchday at Villa Park but we will have to do so without Kyogo.
Selling your main attacking threat at this stage is questionable, especially with that final game of the league phase in Europe determining how high we finish and what draw we can get. Not to mention the more money that can be accumulated the better your final standing is overall, with millions of pounds on offer.

Sutton has been taking to social media to air his opinion on the recent spate of comings and goings and also the potential for more new faces to come in. The ex-Celt did reiterate once again that for all the good work in bringing Jota and Kieran Tierney back to the football club for a second spell, a top-drawer finisher is required still to fill the void left by Kyogo.
Taking to Twitter (X), Chris Sutton had this to say:
“Great news to hear Kieran Tierney will return to Celtic. Jota may need a bit of time and patience on his return but at 25 should have his best years ahead of him. Just a top class centre forward required to replace Kyogo…” Chris Sutton
