Finally, Barcelona have found a way to win a clash without Lamine Yamal. Their latest win against Brest must have given them a lot of confidence and courage especially after what they witnessed in the preceding game against Celta Vigo.
Hansi Flick’s side are now preparing to face Las Palmas at home in the La Liga this weekend. They are sitting atop the points table but with little comfort. Hence, they must aim for all three points and give no room for others to catch up.
Defence
Inaki Pena has settled in well between the sticks so far. He will be in action for Barcelona once again. Jules Kounde bounced back strong after a poor display and should be continued at the right-back spot.
Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez are doing exceptionally well. No point in fixing something which isn’t broken. Left-back Alejandro Balde was on the bench against Brest but should walk back into the XI at the expense of Gerard Martin.

Midfield
Marc Casado is available for selection as he was suspended for picking a red card in the previous La Liga game. His absence should make way for Frenkie de Jong to start in the middle of the park alongside Pedri.
Barcelona will receive the boost in the form of the return of Lamine Yamal. He will take care of the right flank with skipper Raphinha operating on the other side of the pitch. In-form Dani Olmo is expected to be deployed in the central areas.
Robert Lewandowski has been in extraordinary form this season and he will be eager to find the back of the net once again.
Ansu Fati, Andreas Christensen, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are confirmed absentees while Ferran Torres and Ronald Araujo are on the right track to recovery.
