This weekend brings the last Barclays WSL and Championship games before both competitions resume in the second half of January 2025.
Chelsea look to extend their perfect start to a tenth match when away to Leicester City, who are only goal-difference off the foot of the table.
Manchester City sit five points short of the leaders ahead of visiting Everton, with the Toffess a single point better off than the bottom two.
Arsenal currently hold the third Champions League qualifying spot by a couple of goals over Manchester United, as the Gunners go to mid-table Liverpool and Marc Skinner’s side visit basement side Crystal Palace.
Brighton have a six-point advantage over Spurs in the meeting of fifth and sixth, while Aston Villa entertain eighth-placed West Ham who are two points above them.
One of three sides could go into the new year as Championship leaders, Birmingham City currently hold that position and finish 2024 at home to Charlton Athletic, who may be down in eighth spot but still only five points off the top team.
Durham are level on points with Birmingham and away to Bristol City, who could go top themselves with a win.
Fourth-placed London City Lionesses take on Southampton over whom they have a one-point advantage, Sunderland separate the pair in the table and welcome Portsmouth who still await their first-ever victory in the league.
