Leicester City make the trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the Premier League this evening.
The Foxes face the Premier League champions in wretched form. Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side have lost 13 of their last 14 games in the Premier League to drop to 19th in the table.
Wolves’ 1-0 win over West Ham on Tuesday night has left Leicester 12 points from safety and facing a near-impossible task to secure Premier League status for another campaign. The Fixes have won just twice on the road all season ahead of facing Pep Guardiola’s side.
Manchester City need points on the board to secure their place in next season’s Champions League. Currently fifth, there are just five points between fourth-placed Chelsea and Bournemouth in 10th. At the weekend, the Citizens beat Bournemouth to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the seventh straight season.
Ricardo Pereira is in contention to return for Leicester after missing the defeat to Manchester United before the break. The full-back sat out the 3-0 defeat at the King Power Stadium.
Abdul Fatawu is a long-term absentee and sidelined until next season due to an ACL injury. Harry Souttar is recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon that curtailed his loan spell at Sheffield United.
Leicester City predicted XI: Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Coady, Okoli, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Soumare, Buonanotte, El Khannouss; Vardy
Manchester City host Leicester in the Premier League on Wednesday 2nd April 2025. Kick-off at the Etihad is 19:45 BST.
