Lyon midfielder Rayan Cherki is shaping up to be one of the most sought-after players in this summer’s transfer window. The 21-year-old has been in excellent form, racking up eight goals and 18 assists, which has caught the attention of several top European clubs.
Manchester United are among the Premier League teams keeping a close eye on Cherki, according to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are also reportedly tracking the French playmaker.
The interest goes beyond England. Both Bayern Munich and PSG have renewed their pursuit of Cherki, impressed by his recent performances and weighing up potential summer offers.
Chelsea, once considered front-runners for his signature, have stepped back after securing Cole Palmer, Kendry Paez, and Estevao in recent windows. Still, the Blues remain admirers of Cherki and haven’t entirely closed the door on a future move.

Amid the transfer speculation, Cherki was asked about the possibility of joining PSG—and he didn’t shy away from the idea. In fact, he hinted that a move to the French capital would be something he’d welcome.
“Would I feel good in a locker room with these boys from PSG? Oh yes absolutely, I know them all,” Cherki said. “Ousmane & Bradley are good friends of mine. When you have good chemistry on the pitch, it shows off off the pitch too.”
Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign Rayan Cherki, according to a recent report from The Mirror. Several clubs are chasing the 20-year-old, but Manchester United reportedly lead the race to secure his signature.
Cherki could be available for around £20 million, with United viewing the French midfielder as a promising addition to strengthen their attack.
