The winter transfer window has closed, and Alexander Isak is still at Newcastle United—for now. There wasn’t much talk about him moving this winter but expect several clubs to keep an eye on him this summer.
RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo recently suggested that PSG, who were linked to Isak in a report from Fichajes, should make a strong push to bolster their attack under Luis Enrique.
“Wouldn’t you go all-in on Alexander Isak if you were PSG?” Riolo said. “PSG could very well go all-in. Can we swap Ramos and Kolo Muani for Isak? Can we make a package like that? You also add Asensio to the package. And come on, I’ll throw in Kang-In Lee too.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal have shown some interest, but according to FootballTransfers, Liverpool are currently the most determined suitor and leading the race for his signature.

The latest update on the Isak file reveals that the Reds are attempting to get creative with a potential offer to Newcastle for the Sweden international.
Football Insider reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that Liverpool is prepared to offer £60 million-rated Darwin Núñez for Swedish striker Alexander Isak, who is valued at over £100 million.
The report also notes that manager Arne Slot isn’t fully convinced by Núñez and Diogo Jota up front and is eager to strengthen his attacking options for next season. Isak, 25, is reportedly seen as a perfect fit for that role.
Former Man United and Sunderland chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Newcastle want £150 million to begin any negotiations for their top talent.
“So Newcastle are going to do whatever they can to keep him at the club,” Brown said. “They’re demanding £150 million to start negotiations, and that’s what it is, but I can’t see them letting him go. It might depend on him, because if he’s got the idea in his mind that he’s going to go somewhere like Arsenal, then it could be taken out of their hands.”
