Liverpool have reignited their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, as reported by Fichajes.
The Premier League giants are preparing to make a serious push for the French international in the upcoming transfer windows, signalling their intent to strengthen their midfield with one of Europe’s most promising talents.
Tchouameni has been on Liverpool’s radar for several years. Their initial attempts to secure his signature were thwarted when Real Madrid swooped in to sign the midfielder, but the Reds have never completely given up on him.
Now, with Real Madrid’s visit to Anfield on the horizon, Liverpool’s management sees a prime opportunity to reopen discussions with Florentino Pérez about Tchouameni’s future.
The Frenchman, under contract with Real Madrid until 2028, currently holds a market value of around €100 million, making him a highly sought-after and costly prospect.

While this won’t be an easy transfer to complete, Liverpool are determined to make their case. They view Tchouameni as the ideal addition to their midfield, bringing both quality and long-term stability.
However, the situation is complex. While Carlo Ancelotti has backed Tchouameni since his arrival at Real Madrid, the midfielder’s performances this season have not entirely met expectations.
Additionally, the intense competition for midfield spots at the club, with players like Eduardo Camavinga in the mix, could lead to a reduction in Tchouameni’s role. If that happens, Liverpool may see an opening to present an appealing offer, both in terms of playing time and financial incentives.
At the moment, Tchouameni’s camp appears committed to staying at Real Madrid. However, the possibility of a more prominent role and better financial terms could sway the player’s stance.
Liverpool, known for their aggressive approach in the transfer market, are willing to invest heavily to secure this deal. The outcome will likely depend on how the midfielder’s season unfolds at Real Madrid and the decisions the Spanish club makes in the months ahead.
