Manchester United’s Amir Ibragimov scores hat-trick and provides two assists in 5-2 romp over Liverpool Under 17s | OneFootball

Manchester United youngster Amir Ibragimov stunned the crowd with a hat-trick and two assists in a 5-2 victory over Liverpool for the under 17s.

It has been a exciting week for the academy as Samuel Lusale and James Overy were both officially signed by the club.

Fans are also waiting impatiently for the final complications in the deal for the exciting Chido Obi-Martin to be ironed out so he can follow suit.

Nonetheless United already have a plethora of talent at the club and this was seen in last year’s under 18s treble-winning side.

One of the players generating the most buzz however is Ibragimov, described as “the crown jewel of the club”.

The under 17s were 2-0 down to Liverpool but then it became the Amir show as he scored three goals and provided two assists to lead his side to a 5-2 victory.

One of his strikes saw him confidently collect the ball in the area, taking a touch out wide before he assertively smashed the ball into the back of the net.

As you could imagine, he was delighted by his effort, knee sliding across the pitch in celebration.

The youngster has already been flagged up by The Peoples Person as the most exciting youth prospect the club has seen for years.

He joined the club at 14 years old and he first took part in first team training at the tender age of 15 years old.

He has also started the season in fine form for the under 18s, grabbing two assists and a goal in his last two matches.´

The 16 year old will certainly be aiming to get some game time in the under 21s this season and may even dream of making a first team squad appearance in the not so distant future if his exciting rise continues to unfold.
