But the most interesting selection choice could be between the sticks, as the Roman newspaper claims Baroni is seriously considering dropping Ivan Provedel following a series of unconvincing displays, even though he’s been backing him publicly. In this case, Christos Mandas would be set for his first Serie A appearance of the season.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper has been playing exclusively in cup competitions this term, but he could finally earn his shot in the league. This also coincides with ongoing contract renewal talks.
