Marcus Thuram is not expected to be ruled out for a significant period of time despite being substituted off at half-time during Inter’s Supercoppa Italiana semi-final victory over Atalanta on Thursday evening.
The France international was involved in a number of first-half Nerazzurri attacks in Riyadh, but did not emerge after the half-time interval and was instead replaced by Mehdi Taremi.
Initial reports suggested that Inter’s leading goalscorer was struggling with tightness in the adductor muscle of his left leg.

Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Friday confirm that Inter have not even called for any medical examinations, which indicates that there are no major concerns surrounding his condition.
There is a chance that Thuram is called upon for the Supercoppa Italiana final against either Milan or Juventus on Monday evening, but Inzaghi could also decide to not risk him, which would mean a return in Serie A against Venezia on January 12.
