After going down a goal during the first half thanks to an audacious panenka penalty by Julian Álvarez in the wake of a controversial VAR decision, Real Madrid have upped the tempo after the halftime interval, with Mbappé doing what he does best.

Rodrygo did well to dance into the area out wide before his ball across goal found Jude Bellingham, whose goal-bound effort was blocked before bouncing to the Frenchman to dispatch into the back of the net.

It was his 16th goal in La Liga this season, but more importantly, his first-ever goal in the Derbi Madrileño.
