Milan challenge Arsenal and Aston Villa in double Olympiacos raid | OneFootball

Milan are reportedly set to challenge Premier League sides Arsenal and Aston Villa for the signings of two Olympiacos talents in Christos Mouzakitis and Charalampos Koustoulas according to Tuesday’s reports.

The Rossoneri are interested in securing the two teenage talents from the Super League Greece giants according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan scouts were reportedly in attendance for Olympicos’s Europa League round of 16 tie against Bodo/Glimt for a close-up inspection of the 17 and 18-year-old talents. Their profiles are not unfamiliar to the Rossoneri: Both were involved in the UEFA Youth League final when Olympiacos beat the young Milan side to claim their first title last season.

Milan interested in two Olympiacos talents

Mouzakitis is a central midfielder by trade, and at the age of 18 has already made 18 league appearances this season and also featured in nine out of the Olympiacos’s 10 Europa League games this season, eight of those as a starter.

Kostoulas operates further up the pitch, typically as a striker, but has been compared to former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino for his ability to play from deep and cover in a number of attacking roles if required.
