In the first meeting between the sides this season, Pescara faced the Rossoneri as league leaders, winning convincingly, but now they sit in fifth, still in the play-off zone but eleven points off the top of the table. Since the end of 2024, Baldini's side have dropped their pace a bit, a trend that has become even more evident since the Winter break: just one win - away at Carpi - in the past two months, alongside four defeats and five draws.
