La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Atalanta sporting director Tony D’Amico won’t leave his club and that Bologna’s Giovanni Sartori is Milan’s favourite candidate over Igli Tare.
La Gazzetta dello Sport provides the latest updates on Milan’s search for a new sporting director, claiming that Atalanta’s D’Amico is no longer on the Rossoneri’s list, having decided to remain at the Gewiss Stadium.
According to the report, Bologna’s Sartori, Napoli’s Giovanni Manna and Igli Tare are now the names being discussed internally at San Siro.

Sartori is currently seen as Milan’s favourite option over Manna and Tare.
The latter is without a club and didn’t comment on Milan speculation on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Manna joined Napoli last summer and is part of a long-term project at the Stadio Maradona, while Sartori is under contract with Bologna until 2027, and both the Italian director and his club will be unwilling to sit down with Milan before the end of the season.
Bologna, in fact, remain in the race for a Champions League placement and are likely to qualify for the Coppa Italia Final after beating Empoli 3-0 away in the first leg semis last week.
