After missing the last few games due to injury, Matteo Gabbia has just about fully recovered and he has Juventus in his sights.

As MilanNews recall, Gabbia was loaned to Villarreal in the 2023 summer window due to a lack of game time foreseen, but he returned in January because of the centre-back injury crisis. While the rest of the squad will enjoy four days off starting tomorrow (at least those not on international duty), Gabbia and the other injured players will also be training at Milanello on Thursday and Friday.

The defender’s objective is very clear: to be available to Paulo Fonseca for the match on Saturday 23rd against Juventus at San Siro. It is a crucial game against a direct competitor but also a big rival, and a negative result would risk ending the league season very early.
