Napoli in contact with Zhegrova as alternative option to Man United’s Garnacho | OneFootball

Reports in Italy and France claim that Napoli are in contact with the agent of Lille winger Edon Zhegorva over the possibility of a transfer to the Stadio Maradona to replace the outgoing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while discussions for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho also continue.

According to Sky Sport transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, as well as Le Parisien and CalcioNapoli.it, the Partenopei are in contact with Zegrova’s representatives, but Lille do not currently want to let the 25-year-old leave in January.

Le Parisien, quoted by CalcioNapoli, claims that there is already an agreement on personal terms with Zhegrova, but there is still a gap to be bridged between the two clubs.

Napoli actively seeking replacements for Kvaratskhelia

It is a similar situation for Napoli and Garnacho, who has reportedly agreed to a set of personal terms with the Partenopei, but there is still a considerable difference in the two clubs’ valuations.

Antonio Conte’s side are actively seeking a new winger to add to their ranks this month following Kvaratskhelia’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Georgian has already left Naples and is expected to formally complete his move to PSG in the coming days.
