Napoli struggle in new deal for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa | OneFootball

Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Thursday that the talks of a contract renewal between Napoli and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa have now hit an impasse.

The Italian journalist has reported that an agreement over new contract between the two parties was close but never sealed and now all possible solutions remain open. Anguissa has made 26 appearances in the Serie A this season and has scored 5 times and assisted 3 more. He signed for the Naples club back in 2021 and ever since then he has been a very crucial cog in their midfield. He has played a total of 144 times for them, including playing an important role in their 2022/23 Scudetto triumph. According to reports via Radio Kiss Kiss and Calciomercato.com, the Cameroonian wants to move to a club outside of Italy for a fresh start. He has played in the Premier League, La Liga and Ligue 1 in the past. Napoli have an option of renewing his contract, which ends this summer, for a couple more years.
