Juma Bah is currently playing for Real Valladolid in La Liga.

Only 18 years old, the 6ft 5 tall central defender has impressed in the short time he has been at the Spanish club, with Man City Chelsea and Bournemouth reported to be amongst the Premier League clubs taking an interest in the teenager.

Sportitalia report that their information is that it is Newcastle United who have now put a bid in, offering €10m (approx £8.3m) for Juma Bah.

They say that Real Valladolid have turned down that offer but would be receptive to selling in January, if an acceptable offer is made.

This would represent the opportunity to make a very quick profit for the La Liga club.

The 18 year old only arrived in September on loan from Sierra Leone’s AIK Freetong and after just one appearance for the reserve side, was brought into the Real Valladolid first team matchday squads and has already made ten first team appearances, including eight starts.

The teenager has also already been called up this year for the Sierra Leone senior side, for World Cup qualifiers.

Real Valladolid would of course first need to exercise their loan deal option to buy from AIK Freetong, then would able to bank a swift profit if then instantly selling on at a much higher price to Newcastle United or another club.
