There is then the usual sale by queue for those not successful in the ballot, those cup Newcastle v Brentford tickets go on sale on Monday 18 November at 4pm.
Details of Newcastle v Brentford tickets for away fans have also been made public today.
In the Carabao Cup, away sides are entitled to 10% of capacity (15% in FA Cup matches). Although sometimes the relevant authorities and clubs themselves, can decide to not give as many as the competition rules point to.
Whilst 10% of the St James’ Park capacity would equal 5,200+, issues with segregation and home and away fans needing to use different exits, has meant just slightly under 10% of SJP capacity for away fans has been applied usually,
So for the last 16 match, the Chelsea allocation was 4,883 tickets, more than 50% higher than for a Premier League game.
So what has been the case with quarter-final Newcastle v Brentford tickets, how many ‘Bees’ can we expect to travel AND most importantly, how many tickets won’t be available for Newcastle fans?
