Juventus announce that Lloyd Kelly has suffered an injury in his right thigh and will miss next weekend’s key game against Bologna.
English defender Kelly has suffered a muscle injury and won’t return to action for at least 10 days.
“Lloyd Kelly, having reported a muscle problem in his right thigh at the end of last night’s game against Monza, underwent diagnostic tests this morning at J|Medical, which revealed a low-grade hamstring injury,” Juventus said in a statement.

“New examinations will be repeated in about 10 days’ time in order to define the exact recovery time.”
This means the English centre-back will surely miss Sunday’s away game at Bologna, which is expected to be crucial in the race for a Champions League spot.
The Bianconeri are currently leading Bologna by just two points in fourth place, but the Rossoblu have a game in hand, which they will play against Udinese on Monday afternoon.
Kelly joined Juventus on loan with an option to buy from Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
His injury further deepens Igor Tudor’s selection crisis in defence as the Croat is already forced to cope without Federico Gatti, Juan Cabal and Gleison Bremer.
