The XI of players entrusted by the coaching staff at Real Madrid to get the better of arch rivals Barcelona on Saturday evening has been unveiled online.
And it features several noteworthy inclusions and exclusions alike.
The latest edition of El Clásico is of course set to play out in short order.
Spanish football’s two biggest clubs have made the journey to Seville, to lock horns in a highly-anticipated Copa del Rey final clash.
When it comes to Real Madrid, the fixture marks, quite possibly, their final shot at securing silverware before the season is out. Not only that, but it represents an opportunity to bring an end to Barcelona’s treble hopes.
It should in turn come as little surprise to hear of Carlo Ancelotti calling upon a strong line-up of players for the clash.
The most notable omission comes in the form of that of Kylian Mbappé, considered well enough only for a place on the bench amid ongoing struggles with an ankle problem.
But there is also a headline return in Real’s XI, Ferland Mendy having been cleared to take his place at left-back following an extended spell out of action through injury.
