Official: Youngsters included as Real Madrid name squad to face Man City | OneFootball

The squad of players set to be tasked with getting the better of Manchester City by La Liga giants Real Madrid this week has on Sunday been unveiled.

And it features a number of up-and-coming young talents.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on Tuesday night.

Fresh off a 1-1 derby draw with Atlético yesterday evening, Los Blancos will turn attentions back towards matters on the continent, in a Champions League showdown with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

The fixture marks the first of a two-legged tie in the newly-formatted Champions League playoffs.

And, as alluded to above, on Sunday, the group of players set to make the trip to The Etihad has been made official.

As per a release across Real Madrid’s website and social media platforms, the likes of Gonzalo García, Jacobo Ramón and Lorenzo Aguado have been included in an otherwise star-studded travelling party under the watch of Carlo Ancelotti:
