Paulo Dybala will continue to be Roma’s main star.
After being linked with a possible January departure from the Italian capital, the Argentine attacker appears to have decided to stay.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, next Friday, la Joya will make his 100th appearance for Roma.
Tomorrow at midnight the €12 million release clause in his contract will expire.
Dybala has already decided, he will not move from Rome.
In fact, in recent days Florent Ghisolfi, head of the Giallorossi technical area, has spoken several times with Carlos Novel, the agent of the Argentine champion. And he will almost certainly do so again in these days.
The two had scheduled a meeting, which however will almost certainly take place at the end of the transfer market.
The automatic renewal until June 30, 2026 is really just a step away. For it to kick in, we must first wait and see what Roma will do in Europa League and Coppa Italia. But if Roma were to drop out now, the renewal would only be three games away.
