Premier League champions Manchester City are all set to sign an up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Valladolid.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Juma Bah as the player in question.
Bah, for his part, is an 18-year-old central defender, who has spent the season to date making a name for himself as one of the standout talents in Spanish football.
Despite his tender years, since making the move to the aforementioned Valladolid on loan last summer, the Sierra Leone native has established himself as a key player for the Pucelanos.
All told, Bah has racked up 12 La Liga appearances this season, 10 from the off.
In turn, it will no doubt mark a blow for all associated with Valladolid to learn that the young stopper is all set for an imminent departure.
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have tied up a deal with both Real Valladolid and Bah’s parent club, AIK Freetong, over a winter transfer to The Etihad:
‘Manchester City are set to sign Juma Bah from Valladolid! Verbal agreement done. Understand plan could include loan move to RC Lens being discussed, excellent relationship after Khusanov deal.’
