Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for April.

The Etihad boss oversaw an unbeaten period of domestic action with City recording four wins and a draw from our five league clashes across April.

City began the month with a 2-0 midweek home triumph over Leicester before then sharing the Manchester derby spoils via a goalless draw at Old Trafford.

Guardiola’s side then followed that up with a superb 5-2 Etihad comeback win against Crystal Palace before further building on that success with an impressive 2-0 triumph at Everton in what was our last-ever appearance at Goodison Park.

Last, but by no means least, the Blues then rounded off a fine league run across April by claiming a dramatic 2-1 home win against fellow top-five contenders Aston Villa.

Pep has been nominated alongside Villa boss Unai Emery, Liverpool manager Arne Slot, Newcastle’s Eddie Howe and Wolves boss Vitor Pereira.
