Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has reportedly agreed terms on a transfer to AC Milan, though a deal is not done yet.
The Blues will surely be looking to offload Chukwuemeka soon after his lack of playing time under Enzo Maresca this season, with Milan looking like a good possible destination for him.
Celtic are also said to be interested in the England Under-20 international, but it looks like Milan are in pole position for this deal as the player has already said yes to making the move to the San Siro, according to Calciomercato.
Chukwuemeka once looked like a hugely exciting prospect during his Aston Villa days, and Chelsea will have surely felt they were landing a real gem when they brought him in.
However, it’s been difficult for Chukwuemeka to break into the CFC first-team and it now looks like it could be for the best if he moves on to try a new challenge.

Chukwuemeka could do well to choose Milan as his next destination as the Rossoneri have previously done well to revive the careers of other Blues misfits.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham are all former Chelsea players currently on the books at Milan, while Olivier Giroud also previously shone with the Serie A giants after his move from west London.
Chukwuemeka should get more playing time there and that could be the ideal next step for the 21-year-old to get his promising career back on track.
Several other talented young English footballers have done the same, and it looks like Chukwuemeka has also found out just how hard it is for homegrown talents to make the step up to playing regularly in the Premier League.
