Roma‘s managerial situation is expected to be sorted over the coming hours as Claudio Ranieri nears a sensational return to the club.

In what would be his third stint with the Giallorossi, the veteran technician is scheduled to meet with club president and vice president, Dan and Ryan Friedkin.

The American father-son duo want to strike a contract agreement with Ranieri today followed by an official announcement tomorrow.

They aim to finalise the appointment of the 73-year-old in time for him to lead Thursday’s training session.
