Poland coach Michal Probierz has reportedly allowed Inter Milan wingback Nicola Zalewski to stay in Italy.

According to the Polish Football Federation via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old will remain at the San Siro to recover from injury.

Simone Inzaghi lost the Roma loanee to a calf problem last month.

However, Zalewski was on Probierz’s preliminary list for upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Indeed, Poland will take on Lithuania and Malta during March’s international break.
