Niko Kovac will name his first eleven as Borussia Dortmund head coach when they host Stuttgart at the Signal Iduna Park in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon. Two players he will have to do without is Felix Nmecha, who is sidelined long-term with a knee injury, while Nico Schlotterbeck is also serving a suspension after being shown a red card against Werder Bremen.

Only one change is expected from their 2-1 win at Heidenheim last weekend, which will see Maximilian Beier come in for Julien Duranville. Winter arrival Daniel Svensson is available for Kovac, but per RN, Carney Chukwuemeka hasn’t made the squad.

As for Stuttgart, Sebastian Hoeneß provided an update that sees several players sidelined, while Enzo Millot is a doubt coming into his game. Josha Vagnoman, Nick Woltemade and Jacub Bruun Larsen are all ill, so it’s unclear as to what part, if any, they will play on Saturday.
