A rotated PSG side eased past Le Mans 2-0 and into the next round of the Coupe De France thanks to goals from forwards Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola.

After watching Lille crash out in shock fashion to Ligue 2 side Dunkerque, the French champions began their own tie sluggishly as they dominated the ball without looking altogether threatening.

However, Le Mans gifted them a goal just after the midway point of the first half as they tried to play out from the back, only for Goncalo Ramos to close them down and the deflected effort to fall straight into the path of Désiré Doué, who made no mistake from close range.

PSG could not put the game to bed though, and after Le Mans missed a glorious chance to level the game the two sides were still separated by a single goal at the interval.

The game continued in a similar vein in the second half as Le Mans continued to pose something of a threat to the Parisians, who in turn could not add to their advantage.

With 20 minutes to go though, the French champions finally found a second goal as Bradley Barcola, just minutes after replacing Doué, latched onto a lofted ball over the defence before slotting home at the near post to double their advantage.

It was almost three moments later, but goalkeeper Hatfout kept out Achraf Hakimi's effort, as PSG looked to add gloss to the scoreline.

In the end though, it was a comfortable enough progression for Luis Enrique's side, who march into the next round.
