PSG’s Luis Campos met with Lens’ Abdukodir Khusanov’s entourage | OneFootball

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain’s sporting advisor Luís Campos has met with RC Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov’s (20) entourage. The current league leaders are looking for reinforcements in the centre of defence, and Campos appreciates Khusanov’s profile.

Khusanov has excelled at Lens since joining the club on a €100,000 fee from Belarusian side FC Energetik-BGU Minsk in the 2023 summer transfer window. In his first full season at Lens, the Uzbekistan international slowly bedded into the team. Over this summer, he was positioned to take over for Kevin Danso (26), whose move to AS Roma unexpectedly broke down.

Foot Mercato writes that Lens will hope to recoup around €40 million in the upcoming transfer window to compensate for Danso’s failed transfer and also that of Neil El Aynaoui to AS Monaco (23). While Khusanov is currently deemed untransferable by Lens, PSG could test Les Sang et Or’s commitment to a player whose value is deemed to be around €20 million.
