Roma manager Claudio Ranieri discussed tomorrow night’s Europa League fixture with Eintracht Frankfurt in an interview with Sky Sport.
The veteran technician spoke about the challenge awaiting the Giallorossi.
“Let’s hope it’s not the last of the important matches. We want to move forward in Europe and continue to grow as a team,” he said.
“It will be a great match. The crowd will give us a hand, we are playing against a wonderful team. They are second in the Europa League and third in the Bundesliga, they play well and quickly. But we also have our weapons.”
“Since I arrived I have always asked for optimism, performance and not to look at the name of the opponent. Now we have three big games ahead of us: Eintracht, Napoli and Milan, but the next ones will also be beautiful and difficult.”
“We don’t work on speed or physicality, because the boys run a lot. They play with effort. What we need to do better is play as a team. We are better when we are compact. It’s just a question of concentration.”
