Kylian Mbappe’s coming into form is the best possible news for Carlo Ancelotti and Co. as the Frenchman can provide an elite-level goal-scoring threat.

However, that does not stop the administration from being on the lookout for a possible new striker signing and Footmercato reveal that the Merengues have identified a target from the Premier League now.

Indeed, the player who interests the men in white is none other than Jhon Duran, the in-demand Aston Villa striker who is seen as one of the most promising players in the department.

The Aston Villa striker is in serious demand in Europe’s elite with PSG already in the race to sign him. He has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia where Al-Nassr have stepped up and Cristiano Ronaldo’s club is currently Duran’s dream.

As relayed by the Italian outlet, however, Real Madrid have just entered the race for his signing and could bring serious alterations to his future plans.

The Merengues are not discouraged by any competition in Duran’s signing and will look to change his mind and convince him to not sign for Al-Nassr.

If they can assure him of a playing spot, the process may not be as complicated as it appears. However, it will prove to be a pricey affair as the Premier League outfit will not accept anything under €60 million for his signing.

Also reported in the same update is that Real Madrid may offer Endrick in exchange for Duran’s services and it remains to be seen how much truth there is to that angle.

After all, the club are currently not looking to part ways with the Brazilian in any capacity and see him to be a long-term asset for their plans.

So far this season, Duran has played 19 games for Aston Villa, starting just four, and has a staggering seven goals to his name in that duration. Further, he has also scored thrice in seven UEFA Champions League appearances.
