Former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos is set for an imminent return to the pitch.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Mexico as the veteran defender’s incoming landing spot.
Ramos, for his part, has not played in a competitive setting since last season, following the expiration of his contract terms with La Liga outfit Sevilla.
The 38-year-old, though, the ultimate professional, has spent his time away from the pitch maintaining fitness in case of a fresh offer.
And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then such a proposal now appears to have been forthcoming.
As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, Ramos has agreed to the terms of a contract to join Mexican outfit Rayados this month.
The 180-time capped Spanish international will wear the no.93 jersey in the new Liga MX chapter of his career, in tribute to Real Madrid.
