At a time when Real Madrid are looking to maximise revenue coming through Santiago Bernabeu, the club have had some difficulties when it comes to hosting concerts inside the stadium.
Multiple concerts have been cancelled at the Bernabeu due to repeated complaints over sound pollution from nearby residents. As a result, the club has been forced to put a hold on all events at the stadium.
According to COPE, Real Madrid are ready to address this situation by further soundproofing the Bernabeu.
It appears the club are determined to make the Bernabeu a viable concert venue, aiming to host 10-12 events per year without disturbing the surrounding neighborhood.

To achieve this, several key modifications will be made, including the closure of the skywalk area to prevent sound from escaping.
Additionally, Real Madrid will install sound-absorbing materials in different parts of the stadium, particularly in the vomitories at the back, which have been identified as areas where noise leakage is significant.
These adjustments are designed to contain the sound within the stadium and minimize the impact on nearby residents.
The Bernabeu’s transformation into a multi-purpose venue is a crucial part of Real Madrid’s long-term vision.
While the stadium’s modernization has already made it one of the most advanced in the world, addressing the noise issue is essential for the stadium to consistently host big events and concerts.
