Real Madrid are making a strong push to secure the signing of young Brazilian centre-back Vítor Reis, according to recent reports from Fichajes.
It is said that the club is actively looking for solutions to address its current defensive issues, with injuries having disrupted their backline.
The loss of Eder Militao has been a significant blow, and as a result, Real Madrid are urgently seeking new additions to bolster the squad.
In response to this need, the club’s star scout, Juni Calafat, has travelled to Brazil with a clear goal: to finalise the transfer of Vitor Reis, a highly regarded talent from Palmeiras.
At just 18 years old, Reis has already impressed with his defensive capabilities and versatility. He has been able to play as a centre-back in both positions, and his adaptability extends to playing as a right-back when required.

Standing at 6’1”, his impressive physique and mature performances on the field make him an ideal candidate to strengthen Real Madrid’s defensive options.
This season, Reis has accumulated over 2,700 minutes in 33 appearances for Palmeiras, establishing himself as an important player for the team.
His performances have drawn attention from several top clubs, and his current market value is estimated at around €14 million. Interestingly, Real Madrid are willing to pay this to secure his services before other clubs enter the race for his signature.
The urgency surrounding the transfer is clear, as the team is keen to act quickly. Calafat’s trip to Brazil highlights the club’s desire to move fast and ensure that the young defender is signed as soon as possible.
With the constant injury issues in defence and the need to maintain their competitive form, Real Madrid cannot afford to wait until next summer to strengthen their squad.
For now, Reis’ future now appears to be closely linked to Real Madrid, and much will depend on the outcome of Calafat’s reports and the ongoing negotiations.
