Real Madrid are reportedly re-evaluating their search for a left-back, with new reports from Fichajes suggesting that they are considering a move for former player Theo Hernandez.
This shift in focus comes after complications in talks with Bayern Munich regarding Alphonso Davies, who had initially been their main target.
The club had hoped to bring in the Canadian international to strengthen their left-back position, but it seems sthat Bayern Munich have made some progress in renewing his deal.
Furthermore, the financial demands set by the player have caused negotiations to stall, and it now seems unlikely that Madrid will secure Davies at a reasonable cost. The Bavarians are also reportedly reluctant to let go of one of their most important players.
In light of this, Real Madrid have turned their attention to Theo Hernandez, who previously played for the club between 2017 and 2019. The Frenchman is currently with AC Milan, where he has developed into one of Europe’s top left-backs.
Hernandez is known for his pace, attacking prowess, and strong defensive abilities, all qualities that would fit well with Carlo Ancelotti’s tactical approach.

The 27-year-old’s style of play makes him an attractive option for Madrid, who are eager to strengthen this area of their squad.
Reports suggest that Theo Hernandez could be open to returning to Madrid, especially if AC Milan fails to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.
While other players, such as Miguel Gutierrez, are also being considered as alternatives, Hernandez is seen as the most reliable and experienced choice for the position.
Given his level of performance over the years, Hernandez would be a valuable asset for Real Madrid, offering the potential to start regularly.
With his experience and skill set, he would add significant quality to the left-back position, making him an ideal candidate for the club’s future.
