Real Madrid will be back in action tomorrow night as they take on Deportivo Alaves at the Santiago Bernabeu in their seventh La Liga match of the season.
However, the Merengues are sweating over the fitness of two of their key players heading into the game against the Basque club.
Indeed, Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal are both regarded as doubts for Tuesday after picking up knocks at the weekend against RCD Espanyol.
Reports today, though, suggest that Bellingham is not in favour of resting despite concerns about his shoulder issue. But things might be different with Carvajal.
According to MARCA, everything indicates that Dani Carvajal will be rested against Alaves by Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti with the idea being to have the right-back fresh and fully fit to face Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Carvajal suffered a knock during the game against Espanyol and asked for a substitution, just before he scored the equaliser. He was replaced by Lucas Vazquez soon after.
While a muscle injury has been ruled out, the veteran Spaniard’s knock is said to be something that causes intense discomfort for a couple of days or so.
As such, resting Carvajal against Alaves is seen as the logical thing to do by the club, especially with a crucial derby against Atletico Madrid coming up later in the week.
Carvajal, thus far, has featured in all of Real Madrid’s eight matches in all competitions, starting seven of those. The 32-year-old even has a goal and an assist to his name.
If he is indeed rested for tomorrow’s game, Vazquez will be expected to start at right-back.
