Real Sociedad dealt fresh injury blow during Leganés clash | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Sunday night been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.

As much comes owing to developments in the club’s latest outing.

La Real are currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Leganés in San Sebastian.

Imanol’s troops currently lead the clash by a goal to nil, owing to a wonderful strike on the part of young midfielder Arsen Zakharyan.

*Update* – Takefusa Kubo has since made it 2-0.

As alluded to above, however, it has not been all smooth sailing for Sociedad on Sunday evening.

This comes with a leading member of the Basque outfit’s backline, in Nayef Aguerd, having been forced into a premature departure from the ction.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, just beyond the half-hour mark, ‘the defender had to leave the pitch suffering from an injury to the upper part of his leg’.

Should he be forced into an incoming spell on the sidelines, Aguerd will join the likes of Aihen Muñoz, Igor Zubeldia, Jon Pacheco and Luka Sučić on the treatment table at Real Sociedad.
