Real Sociedad pair to miss Barcelona clash through suspension | OneFootball

Two important members of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad will play no part in the club’s upcoming meeting with Barcelona.

This comes owing to developments in La Real’s most recent outing.

Imanol’s troops were back in action on Sunday, welcoming Leganés to Anoeta for a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, Sociedad emerged comfortable victors, thanking goals on the part of all of Arsen Zakharyan, Takefusa Kubo and Jon Ander Olasagasti for a 3-0 triumph.

As alluded to above, though, en route to as much, the evening’s hosts were also dealt a pair of blows on the personnel front.

First up came Nayef Aguerd, who, after limping off injured, picked up a yellow card from the bench.

As much rules the defender out of contention to face Barcelona this weekend, owing to an accumulation of bookings in La Liga.

And Aguerd was later joined by teammate Takefusa Kubo, who is also in line for a one-game ban for five yellow cards.
