Como prodigy Nico Paz reportedly relishes the prospect of teaming up with Inter Milan despite Real Madrid’s interest.
According to Calciomercato via FCInter1908, the 20-year-old sees Giuseppe Meazza as an attractive destination.
Paz has reigned supreme in his first Serie A season.
With three goals and three assists, the Argentine starlet is among Como’s headline performers.
It took Cesc Fabregas’ side only €6 million to sign the youngster from Los Blancos in the summer.
However, his valuation has since quadrupled.
But Real Madrid have a buyback clause set at €12m. Given Paz’s meteoric rise, they would be silly not to trigger it.
Meanwhile, Inter are lurking in the shadows, waiting for their opportunity to strike.
There’s a history between Inter and Argentine stars.
In addition to captain Lautaro Martinez, Simone Inzaghi’s men have Joaquin Correa and Tomas Palacios on their books.
However, this connection stretches back even further in the club’s history.
Paz could be the next La Albiceleste star to wear the coveted Nerazzurri shirt.
Yet, it could take up to €25m to take him to Meazza. That’s if Real Madrid bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Moreover, Inter’s rivals AC Milan are also in the picture.
