Inter Milan will take on Bayern Munich in the first leg of their heavyweight Champions League quarter-final tie without wingback Denzel Dumfries.
According to FCInter1908, the Dutch star faces at least three or four weeks on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.
Denzel Dumfries sustained a hamstring problem during a 1-1 draw at Atalanta before the international break.
However, he had initially joined the Netherlands national team for UEFA Nations League quarter-finals against Spain.
Yet, Ronald Koeman sent him back to Italy to accelerate his recovery.

Simone Inzaghi had hoped to have Dumfries back to full fitness for next weekend’s trip to Munich.
However, recovery has not gone to plan.
Instead, the 28-year-old will likely have to stay in the treatment room for a month to overcome his injury.
Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco spent tonight’s Coppa Italia clash against AC Milan on the bench.
But it was a technical decision as Inzaghi decided against risking the Italian star, who only recently returned to fitness.
