Reports: Güler wants Serie A as Real Madrid open to exit – Milan and Inter keen

Arda Güler could leave Real Madrid during the summer transfer window and it is being reported that he is open to joining a Serie A club.
Güler continues to be linked with an exit because – despite the fact that he has made 30 appearances this season – the vast majority of his minutes have come as a substitute. This is perhaps not a surprise, given the wealth of attacking options that Real Madrid have.
According to the latest from German source fussball.news (via Sport), Guler is attracting interest from the likes of RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, which has become renowned as being a league where young talents can thrive.
However, the former Fenerbahce starlet has expressed a preference to join an Italian side if he is to depart the Spanish capital. The success that Kenan Yildiz has had with Juventus over the last 12-18 months is mentioned as a driving force.
The Sport report adds that Milan and Inter Milan both hold an interest in Guler and are the favourites to to sign him if Real Madrid do indeed decide to let him leave.
Real Madrid are not opposed to a permanent deal at present, but – as they have done with Brahim Diaz, Alex Jimenez and other deals – they would like a buy-back clause to maintain control.
We reported in January that Milan had opened talks with the LaLiga giants over potentially securing Güler on an initial loan deal, but in the end Joao Felix arrived.
