AC Milan are active on the final day of the January transfer window and they are looking at potential midfield reinforcements, reports claim.
As Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) reports, the need for a new signing for the midfield has been spoke about for weeks. Numerically, there is a player missing in the department and to this we must add the fact that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is often injured and Ismael Bennacer is far from his best condition.
It will be very complicated for Milan to sign another player in addition to Joao Felix (talks are on with Chelsea over a loan), but help come come from Jorge Mendes who could propose another of his clients: Gedson Fernandes of Besiktas.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport meanwhile (via MilanNews), Felix is the main priority on this last day of the transfer window, but the Rossoneri are also considering the possibility of signing a midfielder who would qualify as home-grown, therefore having come through an academy in Italy.
In the last few days, several players have been offered up such as Warren Bondo from Monza, Bryan Cristante from Roma and Nicolo Fagioli from Juventus, but so far the right solution has not been found.
Milan have also reportedly been offered Gedson Fernandes from Besiktas, who is part of Mendes’ list of clients as mentioned above.
