Reports: Milan to bring back 1980s ‘Diavoletto’ logo for 2025-26 away shirt

More news on AC Milan’s kits for the 2025-26 season continues to emerge, and now there has been a leak regarding the away shirt.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, for next season Milan will use their ‘Diavoletto’ logo instead of the classic oval crest. It is a badge that first emerged over 40 years ago, a ‘little devil’ created from three flames.
It was first introduced by Milan in 1979 and immediately appeared on the shirts together with the star of the tenth Scudetto, won a few months earlier. The new crest, as it was called at the time, remained on Milan’s shirts until 1982.
The Diavoletto stayed as a logo – on tickets, stickers, season tickets, official pins, on the club bus – until 1986. On 20 February 1986 Berlusconi bought Milan and decided to radically change the club’s image and he did away with the devil, which remained associated with those complicated years of Serie B.
Footy Headlines are also reporting that the 2025-26 Milan away kit will feature the devil logo for the first time instead of the full crest. It will be a white shirt as is now commonplace, with a subtle pattern behind.
As a reminder, Milan’s 2025-26 home shirt is expected to feature an altered crest too, a monochromatic (red and white) version. The idea has divided opinion, with noted pundit Carlo Pellegatti heavily criticising the idea.
