Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal has finally opened up about the significant offers the club has received for him in the past.
He has assured that despite the growing interest from top European clubs, the young forward remains fully committed to Barcelona, a club that has shaped his footballing journey.
It must be noted that club president Joan Laporta has publicly acknowledged on multiple occasions that Barcelona turned down approaches for the 17-year-old, with one of the most prominent offers reportedly coming from Paris Saint-Germain.
When asked about these offers, Yamal made it clear that leaving was never a realistic option for him.
He stated that he was never informed of such proposals, as those around him knew that a move away was out of the question.

His contractual obligations and deep-rooted connection to Barcelona made any potential transfer practically impossible.
“They don’t reach me, but if they had reached someone around me, they wouldn’t have told me.
“First and foremost, because I have a contract and then because I think it was unfeasible for me to go to another club,” he told Mundo Deportivo.
Yamal’s attachment to the Blaugrana runs deep, as he has been part of the club since childhood. Over the years, he has grown into one of the brightest talents in European football, and he credits Barcelona for shaping his development.
The club has played a crucial role in his career, nurturing him from a young age and giving him the platform to shine at the highest level.
“It’s the only club I’ve been to apart from La Torreta, which was the team where I started. But yes, I owe everything to Barça.
“In the end, it’s where I’ve grown up. At La Masia I was there from the age of twelve and from the age of seven playing for Barça,” he added.
